Pipeline is about to digitize and transmit them home, when a naked, amnesiac Colossus appears and rescues them. Peter is shot and is taken to St. Vincent's Hospital by the two he rescued, while the police take away the Magistrates that Peter they defeated. Pipeline and the Magistrates protest their arrest, but the police respond that the Genoshan's have requested political asylum. Elsewhere, in Hollywood, Freddie Stanachek is looking through items he bought at a bankruptcy auction at Beale Productions, where he used to work. Among the items Freddie is shocked to discover a copy of Dazzler: The Movie. The scene changes to Malibu then, where Guido is walking along the shore and finds a woman whom he believes to be a junkie, covered in seaweed. He quickly recognizes her to be Alison, aka Dazzler, and carries her up to the house of Lila Cheney, whose house he is caring for. Dazzler, being a member of the band, is allowed use of Lila's house. The house is computerized and is unable to detect Alison after she is brought in. The scene changes again to Masque taking pictures of Callisto, claiming that he is going to use the pictures to take everything she has away from her, stating she is "as broken as" his mirror. Then, back in Soho, the Genoshans that Peter saved have struck a deal for Peter to live in an apartment of Mr. Paulus, their landord, in exchange for Peter working as a caretaker. The landlord agrees and as Peter is moving in, he is struck by the beauty of the woman on the billboard he sees from his window. Back in Hollywood, Freddie Stanachek is trying to sell his Dazzler film to Baron-Fox Studios, but is rejected because they believe the cost of preparing and promoting a film about a mutant who is dead would be a losing proposition. Back in Malibu, the house is now able to recognize Alison and tells her about who she is. Alison decides to get dressed and go out for a night on the town, like Dazzler would. Back on Muir Isle, the X-Men are attempting to use Cerebro to locate the missing X-Men, or at lease Dr. MacTaggert's bodyguard, Callisto. Daniel feels intense pain as Cerebro is activated and he sees an image of a person that says "Storm" and "Cairo" before Daniel passes out. Back in New York, Peter is taking out the trash, when the woman he saw on the billboard runs into him and falls down. When he introduces himself and asks if she's in trouble, she gets into a limo that speeds up to let he in. Peter swears he shall see her again. He tells his new friend, Phil, what happened, Phil blows it off, but is impressed by Peter's drawings. In Genosha, the Chief Magistrate and Dr. Moreau discuss the situation regarding the capture of Pipeline and the Magistrates and the Chief Magistrate is given permission to use the Press Gang to apprehend the fugitive Genoshans. Back in California, Freddie bumps into Alison, they go off to a club together, where he gets her to sing, and she ends up foiling an attempted robbery. The story makes the news and catches the attention of Eric Beale, who swears to kill Dazzler, as a prelude to his comeback.
